2-Room Studios Unit 6 (for up to 4 persons) Units 1, 5, 6 and 7 Rates from $109 - $179  Front Dining Kitchen Bedroom Bath  Unit 6 is the 3rd of our discounted Retro Rooms. We partially renovated the kitchen, but omitted the
dishwasher for space reasons. It is, however, fully equipped with full size appliances, microwave,
coffeemaker, toaster and has a bistro table with 4 chairs. We found some classic tin signs and wood
décor to enhance the 50’s look. And like in units 1 and 7, you have the original glass block corner
that makes the kitchen very light. The bedroom is elongated and has a queen bed and a double bed in the room, which makes it ideal for a family with 2 smaller kids or 3 adults to sleep in. A telephone with answering machine is on the nightstand between the beds and the room has a walk in closet. A TV/VCR is on a dresser in front of the queen bed. There is no other seating in the room. The small bathroom has the original 50's tiles in the pink colors of that era, and has an unusual 'step in' shower (usable as a small bathtub). This is the only unit with this kind of shower, but guests with mobility difficulties should choose another room. The showerhead is installed in the wall and the faucet has to be turned to the right only and changes from cold to warm water. Unit 6 does not have a blow dryer. |
